Is the Smart Startup Guide for me?

If your answer is A:

You are most likely not my customer. Sorry.

However, you should be aware that both venture capitalists and angel investors can detect a lack of genuine commitment and creative problem solving skills within minutes. One dead give away of both is a founder whose "progress to date" consists of nothing beyond presentation materials such as a business plan, Powerpoint slideshow, and elevator pitch. There's a big difference between mere involvement and total commitment. As the old joke goes, when it comes to breakfast the chicken is involved but the pig is committed.

I will add that the people who need the Smart Startup Guide the most tend not to buy it. Who needs it the most? People who are completely oblivious to any alternatives to writing a business plan and hoping that some kind stranger will drop $500,000 or $5,000,000 into their laps. Unfortunately, they can't see this reality.

Best of luck to you.
